by Andy Clutton

Roadshowsq116The 2016 season of security manufacturer/distributor roadshows is well and truly underway and this week we heard from three companies who are hosting events throughout the UK in the coming months. So in no particular order….

Hikvision

First off is Hikvision, which is running roadshows across the UK in March. Focused on its Smart Solution range of IP products, the theme of the events is “Going Beyond HD”. In addition to participating in live demonstrations and information-packed presentations, each company that attends will receive a FREE Hikvision 4MP IP camera, each attendee will be entered into a prize draw to win an EZVIZ S1 Sports Camera. They will also qualify for special ‘Roadshow Only’ promotions.

Hikvision is partnering with distributors, DVS, Dynamic, Eurocables, and EZCCTV to bring the events to Birmingham, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Belfast during March. The Roadshows will provide details of Hikvision’s new Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) Solution, including new products, like the Blazer Express NVR and the iVMS-4200 & I series NVRs, and new functionalities. There will also be a focus on the newly introduced Hikvision Turbo 3.0 Solution, which provides longer transmission distances, a choice of four different video signals and new features on the Turbo recorder.
