Engineers of Tomorrow registration now open

by Andy Clutton

The Engineers of Tomorrow competition is being held again at IFSEC International this year, giving installers the chance to win cash prizes, showcase skills, and prove themselves on a global stage.

Teams of two members compete in a 30-minute written exam, followed by a 60-minute installation challenge. Entrants will take on over 60 like-minded apprentices and engineers, and be assessed by a panel of expert auditors.

As well as a top prize of £1,000 cash, engineers will gain exposure to employers, allowing them to demonstrate their skills, whilst gaining credits towards a level 2 or 3 NVQ Portfolio.

Simon Banks, Founder and Group Managing Director of CSL says: “EoT promotes engineering apprenticeships to young people interested in a career in the electronic security sector. The competition is fun and encourages their employers to appreciate them as a valuable asset within their organisations.”
