Michael Flink named President of ADI Global

MFheadshotMichael Flink has been named president of ADI Global meaning he will lead all ADI businesses across the Americas, EMEA and India. He will continue to report to HSG President Ron Rothman.

“Michael is a distinguished leader with many years of experience building successful distribution models, driving growth and delivering positive results,” said Ron Rothman. “Under his leadership, ADI Global will continue to strengthen its value proposition, maximise its global network and deliver a robust customer experience to help customers grow their businesses.”

In his new role, Michael will drive an ADI global vision and business strategy to maximise vendor and customer relationships, strengthen product categories and lead expansion plans across all regions. He has been president of ADI Americas since 2010, and has successfully led a cultural transformation focused on growth, marketing strategies and learning to improve the customer experience and strengthen the organisation.

“Our company is well positioned to grow, and we are committed to serving dealers and vendors around the world,” said Michael. “With ADI’s strong multi-brand, multi-category and multi-region distribution model, we will continue to drive growth and build on our position as a global leader in distribution, and I am proud to have the opportunity to lead this organisation.”

Michael joined ADI in 2003 as the vice president of marketing for ADI North America. With a global perspective, in 2005, he launched the company’s international expansion into Europe, overseeing the opening of 32 offices in the first year. Under his leadership, ADI completed the acquisition of Gardiner Group Europe and extended its reach into 14 countries across the region. Flink also served as the general manager for Honeywell Security Middle East from 2006-2010, where he opened the first office in the region and established the sales, marketing, technical support and supply chain operations to serve customers across 22 countries.
