Apollo Fire Detectors has announced that products in its new fire detection system range, SOTERIA, are now available to order.
Tested to exceed EN54 standards, the SOTERIA collection currently covers heat and optical detection areas – either individually or in combinations – the technology incorporated into the range offers a list of features, including PureLight Sensing Technology, loop integrity and enhanced protection against disturbance phenomena.
Benefits to customers reportedly include the collection’s compatibility with XP95 & Discovery protocols, a reduction in false alarms and the enhanced reliability of smoke detection. Installation is simple due to a new easy-fit base and an isolator located in the head, and ongoing maintenance is easy thanks to the design’s increased dust resistance and insect protection.
Complementing the SOTERIA range is Apollo’s protocol, CoreProtocol, the fire loop communication technology.
