PSi Premier Award Winners revealed

PSiThe winners of the 2012 PSi Premier Awards were announced this week at an evening dinner at Moor Park Golf Club in Rickmansworth. A packed venue heard the names of the eight category winners as voted for by the readers of PSi magazine and visitors to the PSi website. Also revealed was the winner of the Outstanding Contribution Award for services above and beyond in the security industry.

The winners for 2012 were named on the night by Andy Clutton, the editor of PSi magazine, and the guest presenter Robbie Glen as:

CCTV Product 2012 – Samsung SNO-5080R

Intruder Alarm Product 2012 – Texecom Premier Elite

Access Control Product 2012 – Paxton Net2 PaxLock

Fire Safety Product 2012 – Apollo Open Connect Gateway

Software-Based Product 2012 – TDSi EXgarde PRO

Technology Innovation 2012 – GPS Miles Fiber Optic System

Communication Product 2012 – CSL DualCom G4 with WorldSIM

Distributor of the Year 2012 – ADI Global

The winner of the Outstanding Contribution of the Year 2012 Award was announced as Tony Makosinski the Security Industry Liaison at Honeywell Security Group.

Pyronix also used the event to crown Iain Traynor from Home Secure Alarms as the “Quickest Programmer in the Land” and present him with a cheque for £1000 – not bad money for just over a minute’s work!
