Emizon announces new funding
John Swingewood, the new Executive Chairman, has led a consortium of investors to acquire a controlling stake in Emizon Group, the IP alarm and CCTV monitoring communications provider. The investment will be used to strengthen the company’s global presence, as well as extending its remote management capabilities across an expanding range of telemetry services.
Announcing his new position, Swingewood stated, 'I am delighted to be directly involved in Emizon, a business with proven technology based on patented IP. Emizon has a great opportunity to become a global leader in the fast growing IP telemetry market.
'Our customers are already seeing the benefits of the best in industry levels of availability, always on dual path networking and a highly skilled 24/7 global service centre. Our remote management and software integration capability, together with our track record in collaborative working, means that we are well placed to expand the range of telemetry services well beyond security.'
This announcement follows Emizon’s expansion into Europe with the opening of its office in the Netherlands.
