Mango DSP, the developer and manufacturer of analytics-ready video servers, has announced that it has signed up with ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) to support the specification for networked video.
Mango DSP offers encoding, storage and video content analysis products for both analogue and IP cameras.
'As a provider of OEM solutions, Mango DSP joins the forum with a commitment to our partners to provide products that are ONVIF-conformant and follow the global interface standards for network and video interoperability,' stated Daniel Peled, Executive Vice President of Sales at Mango DSP.
ONVIF is an open industry forum leading the adoption of a uniform interface for network video products. It promotes standardised communications between network devices regardless of the manufacturer, in order to facilitate implementation of video equipment in the same surveillance system, regardless of manufacturer.
