HoneyRSIHoneywell has announced the acquisition of RSI Video Technologies, the provider of intrusion detection systems for commercial and residential security applications under the brand Videofied. With more than 1 million installations in over 60 countries, RSI is based in Strasbourg, France and has approximately 110 employees in France and the United States.

A statement from David Paja (pictured), President of Honeywell Security and Fire says: “The acquisition enhances Honeywell’s ability to address the growing global demand for video verification to reduce false alarms and help eliminate unwarranted calls on law enforcement resources. RSI complements Honeywell’s core residential and commercial security portfolio and, with revenues primarily in Europe, benefits from Honeywell’s global channel and millions of security and fire installation in homes, buildings and industrials sites worldwide.”

The transaction is subject to completion of all applicable information and consultation requirements. More information about team integration and plans will be released shortly.

Davina brings more than 14 years of marketing, strategy, sales, engineering and project management experience.
