Gloucester-based Allcooper has finalised a deal to purchase the assets of Executive Security, a CCTV and security systems provider situated in South Birmingham. Allcooper has consequently taken on a new client portfolio, most of whom are based in the West Midlands, strengthening their coverage along the M5 corridor.

The company has also added Executive Security’s staff to the Allcooper ‘family’, including former Director, Phil Atkinson, his wife Elaine, Office Manager Nikki, and four engineers, who will continue to work from their Stoke Prior office. Executive Security, established over 25 years ago, operates with a similar client-base and product range to Allcooper.

Phil Atkinson, the former Director of Executive Security, commented: “Allcooper’s offer came at exactly the right time. We had taken the business as far as we could with the existing infrastructure and resources. Becoming a division of Allcooper is the right next step for us because of the similarities between the two organisations. The friendly and cooperative relationship during the acquisition period made it a straightforward development all round, and those strong foundations have helped us to make a great start in merging our operations.”

Allcooper has added Executive Security to a growing portfolio of acquisitions, having taken over Meridian Surveillance Systems in 2013.

Allcooper’s Finance and Operations Director, Dave Phillips played an integral role in establishing and overseeing the acquisition. Regarding the finalisation of the agreement, he stated: “We were pleased to successfully negotiate a mutually beneficial deal with Phil, having maintained an excellent working relationship with him for many years. For Allcooper, this means we now have offices in Gloucestershire, Bristol, London and the West Midlands, extending our reach into Birmingham and beyond. This is fantastic news for the company’s progression. We are delighted to welcome our skilled and knowledgeable new colleagues into the Allcooper fold, and look forward to taking the business forward together.”
