COP Security has been awarded as Dahua Technology’s ‘UK Distributor of the Year 2015’ in recognition of the company’s performance as a key Dahua partner in the UK region.
Presented by Denny Wang, Dahua Country Manager UK & Ireland, for all aspects of product delivery, the award acknowledges COP Security’s position as the number one UK distributor for Dahua and the company’s commitment to promoting the portfolio of IP, 4K and HDCVI products to the UK market.
“We’re delighted and thrilled to have won such high praise,” said James Bentley, Product Manager at COP Security. “Since we began working with Dahua we have seen the interest in the product portfolio increase rapidly particularly since we started promoting the High Definition Composite Video Interface (HDCVI) technology which transmits HDTV signals over any legacy CCTV cabling infrastructure.”
One of the successful initiatives that COP Security brought to the market in 2015 was a free downloadable guide to utilising the HDCVI solution. This was aimed at assisting surveillance installers embrace the advantages of High Definition CCTV imagery and contained simple explanations of the cost, performance, features and benefits of upgrading from analogue to HDCVI – plus cost and performance comparisons with analogue and IP systems.
“Over the next twelve months we will continue to develop the HDCVI product in the UK as well as the other solutions such as 4K so we expect the interest in Dahua surveillance systems to remain high,” said James. “The entire COP Security team is really pleased with the award and we look forward to continued success in the future.”
